How to Use PageBuildr

Page Types


     When you are creating a new page, you will be asked to select a page type like this:











Each one of these page types is different.

  • Webpage-makes a page with only the content you put into a the word box. This is good for general information pages, since your content essentially starts with a clean slate.
  • Weblog-Displays a blog format with your entries. A time and date in which the blog was posted is put underneath the title of your blog Each blog is listed separately on the same page.
  • Calendar- The calender displays an actual calender. If you have added an event on a specific day, the day becomes a link on the calender. By clicking the on that day others users will be able to read all about that event.
  • Photo Gallery-You can upload photos into the photo gallery and it will display the photos on the photo gallery page, when a user clicks on the photo, a slideshow will pop up and they can flip through all the photos within that page.
  • My Music-You can show the world music you have written in this page. This page displays songs in an audio player.
  • Your Profile Display-This page displays your profile no matter where you place it in the menus. The info displayed on this page is actually the info you enter into "Profile."
  • Rss Feed Display-Have all your favorite news sources directly fed into your PageBuildr site!
  • Discussion Forum-Become the host of your very own personal discusion forum! Decide who can participate and who can't! You are in control of the discussion.
  • Related Pages-This allows the PageBuildr to create a "landing page" for the buttons that are on a submenu. A list of links to the submenu buttons is automatically generated when new pages are added.
