Adult Lynx characteristics: ---the typical adult Lynx weighs 35 to 45 pounds. ---they can be over two feet tall (standing on all fours). ---the length from head to tail can be over four feet, ranging from 36 to 50 inches. ---their tails are essentially stubs (5 to 13 cm). ---long hind legs for leaping at helpless little animals. ---huge paws that serve as "snowshoes," which aid them in catching snoeshow hares.
